How NeuroCompare makes money — in plain English. Last updated: April 2026.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to provider websites include a tracking parameter (e.g. ?ref=neurocompare). If you go on to book an assessment, the provider may pay us a small referral fee. You pay the same price you would by going to the provider directly.
This never affects ranking. Our comparison sorts by the criteria shown on each tab (lowest adult price by default), regardless of whether a link is tracked.
Sponsored placements
Some providers pay for a featured slot at the top of a category. These are always:
- Visually separated from the organic comparison list.
- Labelled with a clear Sponsored badge on every card.
- Held to the same data quality standard as organic listings.
- Removable instantly if a provider misrepresents prices, wait times or services.
Sponsored placement does not grant a Verified badge, change a provider's rating, or move them in the organic list below.
What we will never do
- Hide that a link is tracked or that a slot is paid for.
- Let a provider edit their own price, wait time, or rating data unless this is done by agreed attestation and guarantee of the veracity and validity of this data, of these prices and times, by them, and then only for enhanced patient information and choice.
- Sell, share or sync your matcher answers with any third party.
- Recommend a clinically inappropriate provider because they pay us.
Regulatory
This disclosure is published in line with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on online endorsements, affiliate marketing and clear "ad" labelling. NeuroCompare is information-only and is not a medical service. Always verify clinical details with the provider before booking.
